  Graduation News and Notes  

Class of 2026 Information

Spring is a very busy time for our senior class.  It is important to stay connected by reading the weekly Coffman eNews emailed from Mr. Parrill every Friday to parents and students.  

Senior Parent Packets 

Packets were mailed to all senior households via US Mail on February 27th. Information included in the packets:

  • Senior Parent Letter 2026
  • Important Dates 2026  - Details and deadlines of senior events
  • Kings Island 2026 – Reservation and payment is due by March 20, 2026.  Signed parent permission and emergency medical forms must also be returned to the guidance office by the deadline.  
  • Senior Casino Night 2026 – Is a PTO sponsored annual event for seniors only.  Tickets are sold via HomeTown ticketing through April 15th. Parent volunteers and prize donation sign-ups can be found here too.
    2026 Grad Banner – Online orders are due by April 24, 2026

Dublin City Schools Graduation Regalia Guidelines

The secondary principal team across all three high schools and Emerald Campus has recently reviewed our graduation regalia policies. Given the significant increase in requests for various forms of recognition, we have established the following guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity for our ceremonies. These details will also be included in this week’s Family Update.

  • Caps: Decoration of graduation caps is not permitted.
  • GPA/Academic Distinction: Recognized via medals and/or academic cords.
  • National Honor Society (NHS) and IB Diploma candidates will be recognized with stoles.
  • Approved Additions: Military cords and Tolles stoles are permitted.
  • Not Permitted: Regalia for individual clubs/activities or partner institutions (e.g., OSU, CSCC) are not permitted.

  • Click on "Senior Shop"; scroll down to "Cap, Gown & Tassel" ($44.95)
  • Cap, Gown & Tassel Package is required. Many other optional items are also available.
  • Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. See your school counselor for details.
  • Order NOW to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Graduation order pick-up at Coffman April 9th & 10th from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

All Senior Class Meeting - April 10, 2026

  • Mod 7/8 (10:43 - 11:33 AM) in the PAC
  • All seniors are excused to attend this important meeting, including students attending Emerald Campus and Tolles. Transportation for Tolles students will be provided.
  • Our administrative team will discuss senior spring events including graduation and expectations for the 4th quarter.

Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal

  • Thursday, May 21, 2026
  • 9:45 AM in the Main Gym
  • Graduates MUST attend this rehearsal to participate in the commencement ceremony on May 24, 2026

Graduation May 24, 2026

  • All ceremonies will be held at The Jerome Schottenstein Center on the Ohio State Campus
  • Coffman's Graduation is at 1:30 PM (Jerome at 4:30 PM; Scioto at 7:30 PM)
  • At this time there is open seating and no tickets are required
  • Graduates must report by 12:30 PM
  • Handicap seating is available; see a Schottenstein Center usher for assistance.
  • Graduates will each receive one parking voucher at the graduation rehearsal on May 21, 2026. Carpooling is encouraged.  
  • More detailed information will be provided later in the spring.

Graduating Seniors Choosing the Military Pathway 

Is your graduating senior choosing the Military Pathway through direct enlistment, an ROTC program or a service academy?  If so, we want to honor them and celebrate their decision to serve.  Please email ewert_tawnya@dublinschools.net so we can share all the appropriate information about our upcoming Military Commitment Ceremony.
