Administration
Mr. R. Matthew Parrill
Matt is beginning his 19th year overall as an administrator and his ninth year at Dublin Coffman High School and fifth year as the building principal. Along with his current assignment at Coffman, Matt has served in a variety of roles, including both a middle school and high school language arts teacher, head football coach, athletic director, and intermediate school principal. Matt received his superintendent's license from The Ohio State University, a master's degree in educational leadership from The University of Cincinnati, and a bachelor's degree in secondary education integrated language arts from The University of Akron. Outside of school, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Leah and their four children.
Ms. Jennifer Clark
Jen is in her second year as assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High school. She started her teaching career at Dublin Coffman High School 13 years ago as an intervention specialist, and spent two years as Dean of Students. Prior to teaching, Jen spent 7 years working for the Franklin County Juvenile Court in programming and services. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, her teaching license from Ashland University, and her master’s in educational leadership from Miami University. Jen and her husband, Chris, have two sons: Charlie and Henry. They enjoy spending time outside and doing anything sports related.
Ms. Valerie Lawrensen
Val is in her eighth year as an assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High School and her eleventh year in administration. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Val served as an assistant principal and teacher at Olentangy Liberty High School. She also has over 25 years of educational experience as a Social Studies teacher and a coach at several high schools, including Albany and Saratoga Springs High School in New York and Greenwich High School in Connecticut. Val received her principal license from University of Dayton, her master's degree from the Sage Colleges in Troy, New York and her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Val is married to Bill and has two children in the district: Nick and Emily.

Mr. Wayne Tsai
Wayne is in his fifth year as an assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High School. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Wayne served two years as assistant principal at Olentangy High School and 10 years as a math teacher at Hilliard Darby High School. He also has over 12 years of experience coaching volleyball at the high school, club, and national levels. Wayne received his principal license from Miami University, his Masters of Arts in mathematics from Otterbein University, and his bachelor’s degree and teaching license from Miami University. Wayne is married to Korie and are both graduates of Dublin City Schools. They live in Dublin with their poodle, Duffy.
Ms. Ann Tiefenthaler
Ann is in her second year as Dean of Students at Dublin Coffman High School. She enters her fifth year in Dublin City Schools, previously serving Emerald Campus, as the International Baccalaureate Coordinator. She started her career 13 years ago in South-Western City Schools with experience as both a middle school and high school English teacher. Ann has also coached basketball and track at both levels. She received her bachelor's degree from Wittenberg University, her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Ashland University, and her most recent master's in educational leadership from Miami University. Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
