Mr. Wayne Tsai
Principal
Wayne is in his first year as Principal of Dublin Coffman High School after serving five years as an assistant principal at DCHS. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Wayne served two years as assistant principal at Olentangy High School and 10 years as a math teacher at Hilliard Darby High School. He also has over 12 years of experience coaching volleyball at the high school, club, and national levels. Wayne received his principal license from Miami University, his Masters of Arts in mathematics from Otterbein University, and his bachelor’s degree and teaching license from Miami University. Wayne is married to Korie and are both graduates of Dublin City Schools. They live in Dublin with their poodle, Duffy.

Ms. Jennifer Clark
Assistant Principal
Jen is in her third year as assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High school. She started her teaching career at Dublin Coffman High School 14 years ago as an intervention specialist, and spent two years as Dean of Students. Prior to teaching, Jen spent 7 years working for the Franklin County Juvenile Court in programming and services. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, her teaching license from Ashland University, and her master’s in educational leadership from Miami University. Jen and her husband, Chris, have two sons: Charlie and Henry. They enjoy spending time outside and doing anything sports related.
Mr. Michael King
Assistant Principal
Mike is in his first year as assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High School. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Mike served as an assistant principal at New Albany Intermediate School, where he led the MTSS process, coordinated Ohio State Testing, supported building safety protocols, and partnered with students and staff to support academic, behavioral, and professional growth.
Before his time in New Albany, Mike served as Dean of Students at Northridge High School. He began his career at Northridge as an American History teacher, where he taught for nine years and also served as an adjunct College Credit Plus instructor for Cultural Diversity and American History.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Studies and History Education from Ohio Northern University, a master’s degree in International Relations: World History and Culture from the University of Denver, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. He is currently completing his Education Doctorate in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University. Mike has also spent over ten years coaching wrestling and football. Mike and his wife, Taylor, have two daughters, Annie and Ellie. As a family, they enjoy competing in jiu-jitsu and painting together.
Ms. Valerie Lawrensen
Assistant Principal
Val is in her ninth year as an assistant principal at Dublin Coffman High School and her 12th year in administration. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Val served as an assistant principal and teacher at Olentangy Liberty High School. She also has over 25 years of educational experience as a Social Studies teacher and a coach at several high schools, including Albany and Saratoga Springs High School in New York and Greenwich High School in Connecticut. Val received her principal license from University of Dayton, her master's degree from the Sage Colleges in Troy, New York and her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Val is married to Bill and has two children in the district: Nick and Emily.
Mrs. Carly Antle
Dean of Students
Carly is entering her first year as Dean of Students at Dublin Coffman High School and her seventh year in education. She served as an Intervention Specialist and 504 Coordinator at Dublin Coffman High School for two years. Prior to joining Dublin City Schools, Carly taught in both Findlay City Schools and Hilliard City Schools. Carly earned her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and her master’s degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University, and she is currently pursuing her administration license through Concordia University Chicago. In addition to her work in education, Carly previously served as the head coach of the Dublin Coffman girls basketball program. She is married to her husband, Chase, and is a proud mom to their daughter, Carson.
Mr. Duane Sheldon
Athletic Director
Duane Sheldon has served as the Athletic Director at Dublin Coffman High School since 2015. In this role, he supports Coffman's student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs while promoting the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic achievement. He is proud to be part of the Coffman community and believes that participation in athletics provides students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, perseverance, leadership, and lifelong relationships.
Before joining Coffman, Duane enjoyed a successful career as a basketball coach at both the high school and collegiate levels. He began his coaching career in North Olmsted before becoming the head boys basketball coach at Midpark High School at the age of 23. He later coached at his alma mater, Baldwin Wallace University, and served as the head men's basketball coach at Heidelberg University. In 2008, he led Heidelberg to an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Duane later returned to Baldwin Wallace as its head men's basketball coach before transitioning into athletic administration.
Duane is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace, where he was a three-year letterwinner, team captain, and Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference basketball player. Athletics have remained an important part of his family's life. His wife, Laura, is also a former Baldwin Wallace student-athlete and works in Dublin City Schools. Together, they have three children- Jacy, Ajay, and Emmy-who have each been involved in athletics and have shared the family's strong connection to the Coffman community.
Duane considers it a privilege to serve Dublin Coffman and remains committed to creating meaningful and positive experiences for every student who represents the Shamrocks.
